R8rly complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Select your region:
R8rly collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We are committed to transparency in how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal identifying information is removed within 30 days. Rating data may be retained in anonymised form as part of platform data.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information to: payment processors (Stripe), OAuth providers (Google, Apple, Facebook), and cloud infrastructure providers (Supabase, Firebase/Google Cloud). All third parties are required to handle information in accordance with Australian privacy law.
You have the right to access your personal information and request corrections. You may request a copy of all data we hold about you or request deletion of your account. Submit requests to: privacy@r8rly.com
If you believe we have breached the APPs, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

R8rly processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation). The data controller is R8rly / LMDC, operating under Modern Media Mastery.
Data may be transferred to and stored on servers in Australia and the United States (Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure). Transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission.
Personal data is retained for no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure. Anonymised aggregated rating data may be retained indefinitely.
We use strictly necessary cookies (session, authentication) and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time via your browser settings or our cookie preference centre.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority. A list of EU authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.

No. R8rly does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their own commercial purposes. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (Supabase, Firebase, payment processors) under data processing agreements.
California residents may request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. R8rly does not disclose personal information for third-party direct marketing purposes.

R8rly uses OAuth 2.0 for all registered and paid users. We never store your password. Authentication tokens are managed securely via Google, Apple or Facebook. You can revoke R8rly's access at any time through your OAuth provider settings.
Primary data stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Real-time ratings cached in Firebase Firestore. Data sync occurs every 15 minutes. All data encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3).
R8rly does not serve advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Rating integrity depends on trust — and that trust depends on not monetising your data.
